Just a note, somewhat delayed, to thank you, and ask you to pass on our
thanks to Gordon and Claire for a very enjoyable holiday to Lake Eyre etc. I thought I disliked air travel. Instead I found it is just big airports I have a problem with.

Passenger phone conversation with Gippsland Travel:
He said the Lake Eyre trip was absolutely fantastic & he is going to recommend it to all his friends. He was very impressed with Gippsland Travels Service & Gordon's.
He also said the meals were superb, the only complaints he had is that the plates weren’t big enough & he had to come home!

Dear Tanille,
Just letting you know had a great flight with Gordon we were very well looked after. Lake Eyre was Massive from the air. Weather was very good as was accommodation, would have liked more time at Silverton to explore, the food was excellent. A great trip, I will recommend to others.

Hi Tanille, A quick email to let you know our trip over Lake Eyre was fantastic. We both enjoyed it and we have to say it was really well organised and planned. Gordon Brown gave us so much confidence with his expertise. A really nice person also. So, although you know how anxious I was about flying in a small plane, I am really glad I didn't hand my ticket to one of our sons!! Thanks for your input as well.
Regards,
P.s. The bus driver in Broken Hill was very informative and gave us a great
amount of insight into the town. Now its back to work!

Dear Tanille,
Thank you for your Welcome Home card. The trip was certainly very well worthwhile, and our intrepid pilot looked after us beautifully.
I had no idea of the extent of the water currently in Lake Eyre - such a vast inland sea. I wonder what may happen in the future if climate change really happens and Queensland keeps on getting the amount of water it has had in the last couple of years.  We may get a permanent sea within Australia once more.
Broken Hill and Silverton I again found fascinating.  My husband and I were there about ten years ago, and it was good to revisit.  Broken Hill has such beautiful streets and architecture, and I hope that the city will thrive again. hThank you for organizing this interesting trip, and very special thanks to Gordon for making our plane ride so comfortable and for landing us so smoothly each time - and most importantly, for bringing us safely home!
Kind regards to you, also to Gordon and Claire (and not forgetting little Ethan).
P.s. A map showing where we'd been would have been a nice souvenir of the trip -  I must say I was tempted to ask Gordon for a copy of the maps we had on the plane - but I thought he would need them for next week!
- Yours sincerely, Elaine
