Flying Lessons - Training

Start your pilots training today with a trial introductory flying lesson that introduces you to flying and how an aircraft works. Obtain your pilot certificate with 20 hours of flying lessons, allowing you to take to the air in our training area. Once you've spent another 10 hours in the sky on flying lessons you'll be able to start flying across almost all of Australia in a variety of different aircraft. With flying lessons from our expert instructors, you'll be flying solo across Australia in no time.

* Some of the 20 minimum flying hours may be charged at the reduced solo flying rate. These flying rates quoted are the minimums. Student pilots with no previous experience will most likely require more hours flying than quoted to achieve their Pilot certificate.

In addition to learning the practicalities of flying, you'll also be required to undergo flying theory courses and exams in conjunction with your lessons to qualify for the Basic Aeronautical Knowledge exam. Most students prefer to learn flying theory in their own time and at their leisure, however course elements are flexible and allow multiple combinations of flight lessons and training. To obtain your recreational license you'll need in the vicinity of 25-30 hours of flying lessons all up depending on your experience level and natural flying skill.
